How lists are ranked

Lists are ordered from public follower counts and niche match. A profile that fits the niche and has a larger stored follower count ranks higher. When the database has no follower count, that profile is ordered by niche match alone.

Plvylists is a directory of public social profiles. It is not affiliated with any platform. A link leaves this site and opens the profile on its own host.

What the order uses

Niche match is how closely the stored tags fit that list. Follower count is the largest number stored on the profile, not a sum across every account. A very large count is compressed so it cannot crowd out a closer niche match. Profiles whose links were checked recently stay ahead of links that have not been checked in 30 days.

Niche match carries the most weight, then the compressed follower count, then how recently the profile link was checked. A tag has to score at least 0.75 before that niche lists the profile.

The order is a reading of public profile data. It is not a prize, a partnership, or a guarantee of quality.
